That seems to be the way. Go with your ideas whether their stupid or not. Sometimes it's just hard presenting the public with one of those ideas that will make people wonder what you're on. Sometimes I wonder if my stuff is even worth trying. And then I think of all the inventions that were founded over the past century, heck past 200 years for that matter. None of them were sensible, that's why it took a very few people to start them but millions to follow.

I think the first challenge is deciding to act on the plan, the second challenge is sticking with it. Very few new ideas actually make a difference because so few people are willing to make them work. But it's the ideas that grow into giants, create jobs and influence further growth in the next year, decade or century. These are the ideas that societies become dependent on. Ever think of how life would be without phones? It took a stupid idea that later turned into one of the most valued communication tools within the last 100 years.

Great post, keep building the future! And keep inspired others(like me) to build the future also.

Regards

What to do with these stupid ideas. Write a research paper. Build a prototype. Demo at TEDster conference. The agony of connecting and sharing a vision.

Looking forward to more Jess publications.
